Snoop Dogg Comments on Smoking with Son

Snoop Dogg Comments on Smoking with Son

The Hip-Hop world was buzzing last week when Snoop Lion’s 18-year-old son Corde Broadus revealed an image of him and his dad smoking marijuana together. The photo sparked major discussions amongst many people. Some felt as if Snoop was displaying poor parenting, while others found it comical. The West Coast rap veteran didn’t acknowledge the matter until recently.

“My kids can do whatever the hell they want. For me to say otherwise would be hypocritical. A lot of motherf*****s don’t have a relationship with their kids, and that’s when they get on drugs and have suicidal thoughts and drive drunk. Me and my son is mellow. I’m his father, so I wanna show him the proper way because he looks up to me. What better way to get it than from the master?”

Snoop is absolutely correct when he says his son looks up to him. Corde has followed closely in his father’s footsteps. He was a standout football player, just like his dad, but has put his gridiron aspirations on hold to venture into the music industry. While Snoop has no issue assisting his son, he says he won’t hold Corde’s hand either.

“I see myself in him, but he needs to walk in his own shoes,” Snoop briefly said.

Two for the Price of One Kanye?

Two for the Price of One Kanye?

In the past we know that Kanye has pulled some stunts before a album comes out, but this seems a little over the top. I don’t believe that anyone one would want to put their personal business out there, but in the business that he is in, there is always a risk that what you do in the dark will come to the light. However like anything else this too will blow over.

When news broke that Kanye had a sex tape being shopped around to various porn industries, the media and his fans went into a frenzy over the news. Now, TMZ has learned that he doesn’t just have one sex tape being shopped around, but TWO! That’s right, Kanye somehow had two very intense sex tapes with two different women stolen from his computer.

Kanye displays some serious stamina in both videos, as the first one is nearly twenty minutes long, and the second is over forty minutes with no breaks, just pure work being put in by Kanye. According to TMZ, both tapes were shot years ago. Kanye really isn’t happy about his private life being released for the public eye to see, so word has it Kanye will be seeking legal action against those responsible for selling the video to whichever adult video industry pays the highest for the footage.

Kanye Put’s Republicans on Blast Again

Kanye Put's Republicans on Blast Again

f there is anything to be said about Kanye is that he knows how to start controversy. Kanye is famous or should I say infamous for what come out his mouth without the regards to the back lash. Not to say that he is not opening our yes to a few things. If anything he is bringing what we all think to the for-front

Kanye West is the most recent hip hop artist to address Mitt Romney in a song. Unlike Nicki Minaj, who caused much controversy by claiming to be a “Republican voting for Mitt Romney” in her track, which she later explained was a subliminal dig at the Presidential candidate, Kanye addressed Mitt’s tax controversy in his new single “To The World” featuring R. Kelly.

In the song Kanye raps the line:

“I’m just trying to protect my stacks/ Mitt Romney don’t pay no tax/ Mitt Romney don’t pay no tax.”

For a while now Mitt Romney has been a target of much speculation over his unwillingness to disclose his tax returns, and now Kanye is making people aware of the fact in this new song. It looks like the support for Obama in hip hop continues.

StarrZ is Risin’ in B More.

StarrZ is Risin' in B More.

Swag, Cadence, Flow, and one hell of a delivery all these combined make up StarrZ Best Mixtape Ever. Like any good artist there needs to be a comparison to another artist. This Mixtape gives me the feel of Meek Mills. However, that is not a bad thing. I see that Starrz has his finger on the pulse of what’s hot right now.

With some of Baltimore’s finniest such as Paula Campbell on American Nightmare and this mixtape being hosted by Jay Claxton, this Mixtape is sure to be a classic for the city.

As I continue to listen, it’s like pealing the wrapper off of a good piece of chocolate. You know that it’s going to be good, but when you taste it it’s even better than you thought.

If I had to pick one joint that I rock with (Let me say that it is hard to pick) I would have to say that I am feeling that Back Stage with the One in a Million track by Aaliyah.

Starrz is going to be a good look for B More so make sure that you download the mixtape @

Laying a Mogul to Rest

Laying a Mogul to Rest

The music mogul Chris Lighty was laid to rest today at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel in New York City. Lighty’s family and friends, which included a number of artists, arrived to pay their final respects to the deceased influential figure in hip hop. Many of his former associates and artists of which he has managed and or just generally helped to boost their careers in the past attended his funeral such as Sean “Diddy” Combs, Missy Elliott, Q-Tip, LL Cool J, Russell Simmons, 50 Cent and Grandmaster Flash.

His passing has left many with a great pain in their hearts. His former client 50 Cent released the following statement, speaking very highly of Lighty in light of his death, “”He was a good friend and adviser who helped me develop as an artist and businessman. My prayers are with his family. He will be greatly missed.”

Lighty was believed to have been going through a rough divorce prior to his death which has been ruled as a suicide, after he was found inside of his Bronx apartment with a bullet hole in his head last week.

His wife Veronica and his six children are believed to be attending the funeral as well. He was laid to rest in his casket, wearing a dark suit, surrounded by arrangements of white flowers. A heartfelt slide show was put together of memorable moments in his life, which played in the background during the ceremony.

May he rest in peace.
